Saturday Snippet: January 31st
Saturday Snippet is a bi-monthly column run by Catrine, where you post a snipped from something you have written. It can be from your book, poem, or anything else you have written. Post it, link to it in her post, and check out what everyone else has posted!
It’s been forever since the last time I posted a snippet, but life kind of got in the way. Now, I had planned on posting something from Remnants, but instead I’m giving you another snippet form The Afterlife Occurrence. This is something I wrote only a few days ago, and it is both a part of the book, and set aside from it.
The thing about immortality is, just because you don’t stay dead, doesn’t mean you don’t die. And it definitely doesn’t mean you don’t feel pain. In fact, some would argue that the more you die, the more you feel the pain of actually dying. Those people would be wrong of course. For to those who never stay dead, dying is a trivial thing, and often preferable to the pain mortal man must endure.

I LOVE that quote. Really suits the story, which I also love 😀
That’s good. I wasn’t too sure about it, but I feel is really goes well with the story. 🙂
